Integration of a conservatory into any home needs to be done in an exact fashion as you want it to fit into the surroundings seamlessly. We would say that this is a great example of how to do it. One of the first tasks was to source brickwork for the base that was near identical to the existing brickwork and then the occupants had to choose a suitable finish – black woodgrain won through. This colour looks more than in keeping with the house and even successfully complements the cream décor on the inside.
Viewing the conservatory from the outside what mainly catches your eye is all the windows. These windows can all be opened independently and come with the very popular tilt & turn function, an ideal choice for ventilation. Gazing at the skies above is a constant joy as the glass roof has supremely slender sightlines and the external views from the inside aren’t bad either thanks to the positioning of the fragrant French doors. When fitting these doors to the design they were affixed with a multi-point locking mechanism for security purposes. They provide a direct route to the patio where the luscious garden can be admired even more close-up.
