Edwardian conservatories will forever be a favourite with householders as their simple square shape suits so many different types of property. They’re also symmetrically styled and this makes it possible to establish seating areas within its confines. You can see here that this has been exploited with the addition of a mini sofa and armchair to the interior and you’ll also notice that despite the density of the design, the sloped pitched roof supplies a lofty amount of headspace. This spaciousness above is supplemented by those glass-to-floor glazed panels.
We cannot reiterate enough how essential it is that you have a reliable roof. In this instance, a polycarbonate roof was the preference as the buyers were convinced by its temperature regulation qualities. They also opted to include French doors in the structure as they loved the idea of being able to move between conservatory and garden as and when they feel like doing so. Look at how beautifully crafted the handles on these doors are! Rather than choose a single finish, it was decided that a dual finish would work best as black matches the Tudor styling of the house and the classic white finish on the inside brings a calming feel to the interior.
