Position – Where do you envisage extending? Do you want to keep it private from the neighbours? Are external views important to you? The position of the extension will also determine what roofing system, windows, doors and accessories you should incorporate into it.

Function – What purpose will the kitchen extension serve? Is it just to give you more space to cook, or do you intend to make it more multi-purpose than that? Modern Tile – You could easily mistake our modern tiles for traditional tiles by looking at them. There is a vast difference though between the two, namely that they’re far sleeker, smarter and simpler to install. They can be finished in attractive colours of green, red, charcoal, ebony and umber.

Modern Slate – The main issue with traditional slates is that they easily break and crack when exposed to the elements, and once they get in this sort of condition, it can be time-consuming trying to fix them. Neglect traditional slate for our modern slates as they have a near identical appearance and can stand up to the weather. They won’t be a victim of the gradual wear and tear that eventually gets the better of traditional slates.
