SALES CONSULTANTS

Visual are always looking for sales professionals who can flourish within a very unique direct sales environment. We are looking for talented individuals both from within and outside of the industry.

Role Responsibilities

  • Attend qualified appointments, in customers’ homes, listening to their requirements and helping them by offering the very latest and most innovative home improvement products;
  • Meeting homeowners and helping them to create their dream home using our unique design software and product range;
  • Working flexibly to visit new and existing customers who have shown an interest in our “New Living Space” designs;
  • Establishing the customers “New Living Space” design requirements and interpreting design requirements into a design solution, modelled using bespoke software;
  • Build effective relationships which will contribute to the business success through the delivery of exceptional customer service;
  • Listening to the customer and understanding their needs to gather the ideas needed to create the desired design;
  • Address sales goals and adjust to the customers’ needs to close a sale;
  • Prepare monthly data detailing the sales targets and KPI

WINDOW & DOOR FITTERS

As an installer you will join a busy team reporting to the Installations Manager, and responsible for undertaking installations, ensuring an excellent quality service is achieved on all window & door installations.

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

We are looking for a passionate, driven, and experienced Warehouse Operative. You will ensure that all vehicles are loaded and prepared for the following days deliveries. You will have a positive outlook with a strong focus on doing the right thing for the customer, creating win-wins and display energy and tenacity.

You will know what it takes to achieve targets – and you will have the motivation to get results.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday between 07.30am and 4.30pm.

Role Responsibilities

  • To prepare loads in the warehouse or directly onto vehicles ready for next day delivery;
  • To demonstrate good attention to detail when picking products ensuring the correct products are picked and delivery notes are checked and completed in full;
  • To ensure all vehicles are loaded in a safe, correct and acceptable manner ensuring all deliveries arrive in a manner which meets our customers’ expectations;
  • To support team leaders and supervisors to assist with resolving production issues as and when required;
  • To ensure all the correct manual handling procedures and techniques are followed.

Person Attributes

  • Previous Warehouse experience is essential;
  • Previous experience in the Window industry would be an advantage;
  • A full driving license is essential;
  • Exceptional attention to detail;
  • A strong team player with a “can do” attitude and a proactive approach to work;
  • The ability to demonstrate effective time management with a flexible approach to working hours;
  • A proactive approach to work with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload;
  • A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into your daily work.

BRICKLAYERS & GROUNDWORKERS

We are currently looking to recruit experienced, time-served bricklayers for one of our well established partner building companies.

To be considered for the role you must be in possession of a full, clean driving licence and a valid CSCS card.

It is also imperative that you can demonstrate a proven track record of carrying out bricklaying duties to the highest of standards, have a professional and friendly persona and always take pride in the work that you do.

Successful applicants will be working on a wide variety of residential property home improvement projects such as Conservatory, Orangery and Garden Room extensions within Yorkshire.

We have continuous work for small dedicated teams who can provide:

  • Experience to operate plant and excavate and lay foundations and drainage including soakaways, up to 2m deep if needed.
  • Able to set out and use laser levels to achieve finished levels
  • Able to erect brickwork to high standard
  • Create and Install cavity trays and know what a continuous cavity is and why needed
  • Create openings and support same on acrows etc and install steel lintels and steels for new openings
  • Able to call off materials allocated to a project for when needed
  • Able to understand and work within building regs and to high standards
  • Able to keep sites clean and tidy and safe
  • Recognise site safety is a priority for you and clients
  • Representing our company you must deal with clients in a polite, courteous and professional manner

CONSERVATORY & ORANGERY SURVEYOR

The role of Conservatory / Orangery Surveyor is part field and part office based.

In essence, the role is to take a contract from the point of sale to the point where it is ready for order processing prior to installation.

A good sound knowledge of the conservatory / orangery and building industry and previous experience in surveying is essential.

Duties include:

  • Making appointments with customers to carry out the survey.
  • Meeting with customer at their home and reviewing the contract sold.
  • Discussing and confirming with client all choices regarding design.
  • Carrying out a comprehensive survey to determine manufacturing sizes.
  • Identifying any discrepancies between the contract sold and the final work to be carried out.
  • Liaising with Contracts Manager regarding any alterations to contract.
  • Producing full working drawings for Planning Applications, Building Regulations, Builders and Order Processing as necessary for each installation.

Qualities required include:

  • Previous surveying experience.
  • Good knowledge of current Building Regulations.
  • A methodical and accurate work ethic.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of the window/conservatory/extensions/building industry.
  • Computer literate.
  • MTC card or equivalent.
  • Clean driving licence.

AFTERCARE SERVICE ENGINEER

We are looking for a passionate, driven and customer focused Aftercare Service Engineer who can flourish and progress within a fast paced, forward thinking environment. You will be responsible for resolving any issues which customers may have with our products.  You will provide excellent customer service, creating positive relationships and sales opportunities.

You will have a positive outlook and you will be driven to deliver an excellent aftercare first fix rate.

Role Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for resolving issues with our windows, doors, bi-folds, orangeries, and conservatories;
  • To provide excellent customer service whilst at customers properties;
  • To ensure that all visits are completed on the first visit;
  • To be responsible for ensuring quality work is carried out at all times;
  • To ensure that your customer experience score is positive;
  • To support the Aftercare department to assist with resolving any issues as and when required.

Person Attributes

  • Previous experience in all aspects of window, door and bi-fold fitting including fitting doors and windows, conservatories and orangeries.
  • The ability to fit any miscellaneous hardware or fittings that may be required such as handles, hinges, glazing, letterboxes etc.
  • Excellent product knowledge with good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify cost efficient solutions to problems.
  • Good customer service skills with the ability to apply a calm and polite approach when dealing with dissatisfied customers.
  • A clean driving license.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to communicate both verbally and written.
  • A self -motivated individual who has a can-do approach to work with the ability to get the job done in the required timescales.
  • A willingness to undertake further training with the ability to implement learning into your daily work.

ORDER PROCESSING / ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Part Time Permanent Position

Hours 9:30am – 2:30pm

Salary to be discussed based on experience.

  • Excellent and confident telephone manner, dealing with day to day enquiries in a polite and professional manner.
  • Must have an outgoing personality.
  • Problem solving and dealing with any issues that may arise.
  • Processing UPVC orders
  • Designing base plans using TurboCAD (training given)
  • General office duties, such as filing, answering the phone, data entry and typing etc.
