Project Survey
A Visual surveyor will visit your home to take measurements and ensure that the proposed design is suitable for your property. You’ll have the chance to discuss the plans and, if necessary, talk about any changes.
If planning permission is required for the build, the surveyor will collate all the necessary details and put forward the application.
Planning Permission & Building Regs
Visual will take care of the planning application process on your behalf. We’ll submit all the necessary drawings and technical details to your local council, and keep you informed along the way.
Timeframes can vary by project and by council, but you should generally allow 8 weeks for NCS approval around 10 weeks for Full Householder Planning Permission.
Schedule of works
We project manage everything on your behalf. So you’re aware of what’s going on, we’ll assign a schedule of works and coordinate all the building, fitting and finishing teams.
You’ll be keep up-to-date and we’ll always discuss specific site requirements with you ahead of time.
Building, installation & fitting
Your Visual building team will discuss brick matching with you before any construction work begins. Once that stage is completed, your frames and/or roof will be fitted.
We’ll manage all the various tradespeople involved, so you can relax in the knowledge that the full construction schedule is mapped out.
Finishing
With the walls, frame and roof installed, Visual will complete any further internal works as agreed and ensure you’re fully satisfied.
Then, with everything signed off, you’re free to enjoy your new space!
