Large Modern Orangery with Bi-Folding Doors

One set of bi-folding doors just wasn’t enough when you’re extending home with such an expansive modern orangery.

It’s very easy to get addicted to orangery living, but there will obviously be occasions when the lure of the outdoors proves too tempting and when it does, why not make a stylish exit. Two possible stylish exits can be made from this orangery just by unlocking and then pushing the bi-folding doors open. The individual door leafs that make up these beautiful bi-folds fold as they’re pushed until they concertina at one end. There are an almost countless number of different openings that can be executed via this perfect pair of bi-folds.

It is difficult to drag yourself away from that orangery interior though as the very commanding roofing system supplies superb thermal efficiency in every type of weather. The occupants can rest assured that the orangery will never get too cold in winter or too hot in summer. The two seated areas get utilised frequently and just as much at night than during the daytime as we setup downlighters in the perimeter ceiling for the purpose of illuminating the space once darkness falls. The positioning of the orangery had to be exact so that the view of the television isn’t disturbed by the glare of the sun. Nowhere else in the house is now as busy as the orangery.
