It’s difficult to know where to start with this installation in terms of highlights as the Georgian bars are undeniably elegant, the guttering is exquisitely executed and the roof covering is nothing short of ravishing. The roof has its own name, the Ultraroof, and is the most advanced conservatory roofing system available today. Unlike some tiled roofs, the Ultraroof accommodates two rectangular glazed sections, overcoming the potential of natural light being lost as a result of its fitting. The placement of downlighters in the internal pelmet was specifically done to offer a means of artificial light at night.
What was already a big home has now become a massive one since we completed work on the conservatory. A wealth of floor space is available inside of the structure, despite the wooden table and chairs occupying a generous volume of the interior. Dining outside is now a regular thing as the French doors provide an instant connection to the patio area where further furniture sits. Their double opening also helps to keep the interior nicely ventilated on those hot summer days, as do the multiple top opening windows. You have to say though that the roof is the star of the show as conservatory roofs don’t get any better than that.
